Effects of Inter-Electron Correlation Before Ionization

Abstract

Using a classical ensemble method, we predict that electron-electron correlation before first ionization leads to measurable effects in both nonsequential and sequential double ionization regimes. Laser field ellipticity is key to observe these effects.
