Thickness dependent contrast of human oral epithelial nuclei in vivo observed by third-harmonic generation microscopy

Abstract

In this paper, we demonstrate that the third-harmonic-generation contrast on epithelial nuclei in vivo observed in human oral cavity depends strongly on the thicknesses, rather than nonlinear susceptibility, of cell nuclei.
