Observation of spontaneous parametric down conversion in LiNbO3 waveguide arrays

Abstract

We study experimentally the process of bi-photon generation through spontaneous parametric down-conversion in waveguide arrays. We show the formation of a unique spatial-spectral photon pattern and its dependence on the phase-matching conditions.
