A Pragmatic Guide to Building a Multi-Photon Microscope with Applications to Micro-Machining

Abstract

Construction of a multiphoton microscope from the excitation source, scan optics, excitation optics, collection optics, and detection electronics is described. A pragmatic, do-it-yourself approach is applied, resulting in the construction of a robust inexpensive platform.
