Fiber-optic DTS Application in Performance Assessment of Pre-drainage Boreholes

Abstract

Interpretation of fluid flow temperatures collated by fiber-optic DTS systems used in pre-drainage boreholes for performance assessment is investigated through measuring temperatures in a mechanistic simulator. The results show some flow conditions can be simulated.
