Lab-on-chip Silicon Nitride Microring Sensor at Visible Wavelength Using Glycoprotein Receptors

Abstract

A full biosensor system based on referenced and spectrally multiplexed arrays of silicon nitride microrings with glycoprotein receptors is demonstrated. Underlying system design guidelines and fundamental noise limits of the device are discussed.
