1.75 kW CW Narrow Linewidth Yb-doped all-fiber Amplifiers for Beam Combining Application

Abstract

We reported on a Yb-doped all-fiber amplifier when seeded with a 20 GHz line-width master oscillator. By using mode controlling technology, an output power of 1.75 kW with near-diffraction limited beam quality (M2=1.77) was observed.
