Nonlinear Polarization Switching and Preservation Effects in 55 µm Core Polygonal-CCC Fibers

Abstract

Study of nonlinear, intensity-dependent polarization evolution in 55µm core polygonal-CCC fibers reveals that both nonlinear polarization switching as well as robust and intensity-independent polarization maintenance can be achieved depending on input signal polarization.
