Advanced Microwave Photonic structure for Low Coherence Interferometry

Abstract

A novel technique for low coherence interferometry by using Microwave Photonics technology is experimentally proved. Considerable improvements on key LCI parameters as penetration depth, axial resolution and sensitivity along the measurement range are achieved.
