Recent progress in wind field sensing by aerosol lidar and motion estimation algorithms

Abstract

Recent research results that involved the application of two motion estimation algorithms (cross-correlation and wavelet-based optical flow) to data from two ground-based atmospheric aerosol lidar systems (analog and digital direct detection) will be presented.
