Modifying the spectral emission of a terahertz quantum cascade laser with double pulse injection seeding

Abstract

A terahertz quantum cascade laser (QCL) is injection seeded with two board-band THz pulses. By varying the time-delay between the THz pulses, the QCL emission spectrum can be modified and even reduced.
