Shaping two-photon absorption in a disorder coupling gold nanorod assembly

Abstract

We demonstrate that the relevance between the linear and the nonlinear optical response of a gold nanorod assembly can be shaped by plasmonic coupling. The strongly localized modes induced by random coupling play a crucial role in determining the optical absorption of the plasmonic systems.
