Absorption spectroscopy based on polarization-multiplexed dual-frequency femtosecond fiber laser combs

Abstract

Coherent duel-frequency optical combs are generated using common-cavity approach based on polarization-multiplexing in an all-PM fiber laser configuration. We demonstrate the application of these optical combs in spectroscopy without the need of active phase synchronization.
