Abstract

We seed a unique, broad-gain-bandwidth (60nm at 1550nm) intermodal four-wave mixing process yielding 10kW-peak-power pulses tunable from 786-795nm, resulting in the first power-scalable all-fiber tunable source in the spectral range of the ubiquitous Ti:Sapphire laser.
