Raman-Shift Suppression and Soliton Splitting in Photonic Crystal Fibers with Nonlinear Dispersion

Abstract

We demonstrate numerically the cancellation of soliton self-frequency shift in photonic crystal fibers having nonlinear dispersion and positive linear dispersion slope. Fundamental soliton fission across the zero-nonlinearity wavelength is also observed.
