Abstract

Pulse generation from cw laser light with >70% collection efficiency, 60-200 ps pulse widths and repetition rates 1.1-2.5 GHz is demonstrated using multilevel phase modulation and 1/2, 1/6 and 1/10 fractional Talbot dispersive propagation.
