Hyperspectral and multimodal CARS microscopy of structured endogenous biomolecules in Euglena gracilis

Abstract

Using hyperspectral CARS and SHG microscopies we image and fingerprint an intriguing biomolecule in phototrophic Euglena gracilis. The large CARS signal strength of this endogenous biomolecule opens new opportunities in label-free, live biological imaging.
