Interacting polariton fluids in a monolayer of tungsten disulfide

Abstract

We demonstrate strong light-matter coupling between a Bloch surface mode and excitons in monolayer tungsten disulfide and report on the first demonstration of polariton nonlinearities within two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides at room-temperature.
