Anomalous Trapping of Temporal Cavity Solitons by Amplitude Modulated Driving Fields

Abstract

We report a systematic study of cavity soliton motion in the presence of amplitude modulated driving fields. We show that, contrary to conventional wisdom, cavity solitons are trapped to particular values of the driving field.
