RSOP Equalization through an Extend Kalman Filter Scheme in Stokes Vector Direct Detection System

Abstract

A new scheme for RSOP equalization in Stokes Vector Direct Detection (SV-DD) is proposed. The scheme is using Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) to tracking and compensation, which has a good performance in fast dynamic RSOP.
