Terahertz Carrier Dynamics in Epitaxial Layered ε-InSe

Abstract

Relaxation of optically excited quasiparticles in ε-InSe is studied by employing ultrafast optical-pump THz-probe spectroscopy. The excited quasiparticles enhance the THz absorption and relax by three processes which occur in few to hundreds of picoseconds.
