Radiation Pressure Assisted Acousto-Optical Transducer

Abstract

We study the acousto-optical response of the optomechanical resonators in subthreshold regime and demonstrate that the reduced damping due to radiation pressure can be used for high sensitivity detection of acoustic waves.
