CMOS Foundry DRC-Conforming Extended Cladding Modulated Integrated Bragg Grating Filters

Abstract

We demonstrate a CMOS-compatible extended cladding modulated integrated Bragg Grating filter, while meeting strict DRC requirements of SiPh foundries. A narrow bandwidth of 2.1nm on the phase-shifted portion and 29.2dBm extinction ratio is measured.
