Abstract
High power laser radiation sources with wavelengths near 3 μm are indispensable for processing of organic and high water-containing materials. These wavelengths belong to mid-infrared (mid-IR) range, which is also called molecular footprint region. Where the absorption peaks of water and hydrogen bonds are located, that provides many opportunities for the application in biology, medicine and non-metal material processing [1].
