Abstract

Fiber Optical Parametric Chirped Pulse Amplification (FOPCPA) consists of amplifying temporally stretched short pulses in an optical fiber by a high intensity pump beam through a four-wave mixing process [1,2]. Such amplification scheme presents high gain, large bandwidth, repetition rate and wavelength broad flexibility and tunability but provides up to now only very weak signal energies (below the nJ level).
