Graphene-induced tunable Lamb shifts beyond atomic fine structure

Abstract

We show that highly tunable atomic energy levels can be achieved by exploiting plasmonic Lamb shifts. The shifts can be larger than fine-structure shifts and potentially larger than the Coulomb interactions at certain Fermi energies.
