Controlling the topology of plasmonic vortex lattices

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate creation of two-dimentional plasmonic vortex lattices, while controlling the lattice topology. These lattices could drive many nanophotonic applications and bear an uncanny similarity to recently observed magnetic skyrmion lattices.
