Colossal Photon Bunching Driven by Phonon Recombination Dynamics

Abstract

We report photon bunching g(2)(0) 49 due to phonon sidebands in spectrally filtered cathodoluminescence from NV centers in diamond. The result is consistent with fast, phonon-mediated recombination dynamics, and supported by a stochastic model.
