Structured Light for Selective Third-Harmonic Generation in Subwavelength Resonators

Abstract

We study the third-harmonic generation in subwavelength silicon particles supporting Mie-type optical modes. By tailoring the vectorial structure of the pumping light, we selectively excite electric or magnetic multipoles, also controlling the induced nonlinear response.
