Single-stage Phase-sensitive Amplifier Based Quadrature De-multiplexer for De-aggregating QAM Signals into In-phase and Quadrature Components

Abstract

A single-stage phase-sensitive amplifier based quadrature de-multiplexer is proposed and validated for de-aggregating QAM signals into in-phase and quadrature components with wavelength and polarization preserved. A 10Gbaud 16QAM/64QAM is successfully de-aggregated into two PAM4s/PAM8s.
