Nonlinear Generation of Vacuum Ultraviolet Light with an All-Dielectric Metasurface

Abstract

An all-dielectric metasurface device for nonlinear generation of coherent vacuum ultraviolet will be is reported. The metasurface made of ZnO has a resonance at 394 nm and can generate vacuum ultraviolet under ultrafast laser illumination.
