Electrical Detection of Surface Plasmons for Sensing Applications

Abstract

Photoinduced voltages in metal films with rectangular profile modulation demonstrate sharp polarity switching at plasmon resonance conditions. We explore this effect for applications for compact plasmonic sensors with electrical detection.
