Polariton electroluminescence in monolayer WS2

Abstract

We demonstrate a room temperature polariton LED using monolayer WS2 embedded in a microcavity in the strong coupling regime. Electrical injection is accomplished via graphene contacts and hBN tunnel barriers integrated with the microcavity.
