Ultrafast Spin Dynamics and Phase Competition in a Spin Vortex Crystal Superconductor

Abstract

Ultrafast spectroscopy measurements on iron pnictide 1144 superconductor CaK(Fe1-xNix)4As4 revealed, for the first time, spin dynamics of an exotic Spin Vortex Crystal (SVC) phase that competes with superconductivity.
