Smart Carbon Fiber Sensing Systems Applied to Biomechanics

Abstract

This paper presents three applications of carbon fiber reinforced polymer with integrated FBG sensor systems in biomechanics. In vivo tests were performed showing that the sensors are robust for the different applications.
