28Gbps PAM4 60GHz Radio over Fiber System by Injection Locking Two-Tone Light to Directly-Modulated Laser

Abstract

A 28Gbps PAM4 60GHz radio-over-fiber system is proposed and experimentally demonstrated by injection locking a two-tone light to a directly-modulated laser. Experimental results show negligible power penalty for the obtained PAM4 after the injection locking.
