Abstract

Using extremely sensitive dual-resonance long-period-fiber-gratings operating close to their turnaround-wavelength, we demonstrate a sensor for accurate and quantitative detection of adulterator in ethanol. Our sensor can detect methanol concentration as small as 0.1% in ethanol.
