Quantum frequency conversion using nanophotonics

Abstract

We demonstrate quantum frequency conversion of photon pairs, with both pair generation and frequency conversion implemented in Si3N4 microrings. Quantum correlations between the signal and idler are preserved, with an on-chip conversion efficiency around 25%.
