Engineering the Coupling Between the Berreman Mode and Nanobar Antennas in Epsilon-near-zero Materials

Abstract

We design, fabricate and characterize the coupling between nanobar antennas and optical modes on epsilon-near-zero thin AlN films. Reflection measurements and simulations indicate that the interaction can be controlled via incident angle and antenna length.
