Switching Dynamics of Counter-propagating Light States in Microresonators

Abstract

We present a dynamical analysis of the transition between counter-propagating light states in a nonlinear microresonator. Our results provide important information for the use of these states in optical memories and for dynamical routing in photonic circuits.
