High-speed silicon-organic hybrid modulator enabled by sub-wavelength grating waveguide ring resonator

Abstract

We present a high-speed modulator based on electro-optic polymer infiltrated sub-wavelength grating waveguide ring resonator. A 3-dB small signal modulation bandwidth of 41.36 GHz has been demonstrated.
