Ultrafast Photocarrier Dynamics in Single-Layer Graphene Driven by Strong Terahertz Pulses

Abstract

Strong THz field enhances the THz transmission of photoexcited graphene, increasing carrier scattering rates. High-field also reduces the relaxation time of the photocarriers by opening up the unoccupied states, while photoexcitation retards the relaxation process.
