Mid-Infrared Frequency Comb Generation with In-Line Frequency Stabilization

Abstract

We demonstrate a simple mid-infrared comb source via intra-pulse difference frequency generation in periodically poled lithium niobate crystals. This technique generates an offset frequency beat in the mid-infrared, which we use for comb stabilization.
