Abstract

A composite hybrid plasmonic waveguide is experimentally demonstrated to exhibit long-range propagation (0.03dB/µm) and subwavelength confinement simultaneously, while unrestricted from structural or modal symmetry coupling conditions. Purcell factors of 1.5×104 were measured in traveling-wave ring-resonators.
