Solving large-scale NP-Complete problem with an optical solver driven by a dual-comb ‘clock’

Abstract

A scheme using a simple dual-comb fiber laser to solve large instance NP-C problems is demonstrated based on asynchronous sampling measurement of pulse delays through a fiber network, and picosecond resolution, nanosecond range are achieved.
