Ultrafast Thulium-Doped Fiber Laser System at 1.8 µm for Multiphoton Microscopy

Abstract

An ultrafast laser system at 1.8 µm is developed based on thulium-doped ZBLAN fibers. The generated pulses are used in a three-photon microscope to observe the images of fluorescent beads for 600 nm.
