Abstract

The performance of solar-blind optical wireless communication using AlGaN-based LED at 280 nm-band was evaluated experimentally over a 1.5-m outdoor Line-of-Sight channel. Even under the summer sun, 1.18-Gbps error-free transmission was achieved.
