60m/2.5Gbps Underwater Optical Wireless Communication with NRZ-OOK Modulation and Digital Nonlinear Equalization

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a 2.5Gbps communication system based on a 450nm laser over 60m underwater transmission distance at the BER level of 3.5×10−3 by using NRZ-OOK modulation and digital nonlinear equalization technology.
