Free-Space Optical Time Transfer between an Atomic Frequency Standard and a Simple Optical Clock

Abstract

We present a tabletop demonstration of free-space time-frequency transfer from a compact optical rubidium atomic frequency standard to stabilize a clock based on a fiber laser locked to fiber-delay line compared with a cavity-stabilized laser.
