A Luneburg Lens for the THz Region

Abstract

We implement a two-dimensional Luneburg lens for the THz region using a waveguide-based artificial-dielectric technology. The lens can focus an approximately 2-cm diameter input beam at 0.162 THz to a spot size of 3.4 mm.
